We are overly satisfied with Gni Lam's service from Yishun Branch Islandmaids. Given the urgency of our request, last mins our helper Dad pass away helper need to go back asap. We need a helper as soon as possible. Gni understood our requirements (especially experience in bedridden lderly ), and assisted to find our helper who has great elderly care experience. First time hiring a helper, was a bit lost when to find a good agency. when i come across Island maid (Beo Crescrent Branch) which was near my home. i decided to give a shot. When i step in, was greeting by Mei Hui. she was very nice and friendly. She understood my Stituation, offer a lot of Candidate and let me understand about process of hiring a helper. Due to my mother a bit choosy. She (Mei hui) was very understanding and patient. Even after her working hours, she still replies to my message. After many Canidates. we finally choose one. Agent Mei Hui is very detailed when taking in my requirements. She recommended me a transfer helper but I was very apprehensive because I have reservations. Mei Hui went extra mile to let the care recipient assess the suitability. She is not like the typical agent whom I have dealt with in last 30 years from reputable agency. Post deployment, Mei Hui remains contactable and willing to listen to the problem we had with the helper, and each time, Mei Hui will listen intently and help mediate the issues. I had lost confidence on my two maid agency after I met online conversation with ANDY HONG@ANG MO KIO He had a good listening ears and introduced me a TRANSFER MYANMAR MAID. Which always in my mind don’t ever take a TRANSFER MAID……. Although only 8 days today I found she is hardworking, obedient, And she did follow my schedule on my housekeeping which I trained her. After reading some online reviews, compared the price and package offered by some agencies, We decided to put our Trust and Faith in Gni from Yishun Branch Island Maids Agency to source for the maid to look after my Dad who has Slight Dementia. At first We have many worries and concerns especially being the 1st time hire a maid. Gni able to explain and clear our doubt and provided us with good tips, advise, guidance . I have been dealing with Zoe for the longest time, about 18 years to be exact. My past maids went through her, so are my brothers, sisters and mum’s maids. She has good discernment if the maids were suitable for my household and personality, and most of the time time she was right. Hi I would like to give our sincere compliments to Gni from Island Maids in Yishun branch. While we are new in hiring helper, Gni made the process very smoothly and fuss free for us. A great help in the family with house chores and looking after my parents-in-law in their 80s. We feel reassured having Masiroh look after mother-in-law who needs to go for dialysis treatments, in our absence. She even dropped into my home after work at night to bring me papers to sign. Peggie from Bedok Branch was very helpful and offered constructive advice when I was urgently looking for a FDW for my parents. A good match was found within a few weeks despite the current shortage. Paperwork was seamless and handover was smooth. She also followed up to check on the FDW. My own helper was engaged through Island Maids 2.5 years ago and though it was from a different branch and staff, the service was equally professional and we found a good match as well. My relationship with Island Maids started with a panicked phone call at the start of pandemic to check if they had any transfer helpers available. While they had no transfer helpers available, Michelle of Island Maids (Hougang) shared that they were still able to bring in new helpers from Myanmar. She shared with me three profiles, facilitated video interviews on the spot with two of the candidates and managed to fly the helper in before Myanmar's lock down on 1 Apr 2020. I am happy to share that the helper is on to her second contract with my family. My extended family have since hired another three helpers via Michelle (one has transferred, one is still with the family, while another is on the way).
